A little about me:
I approach therapy in a fluid manner, tailoring my approach to the individual needs of each client. I have experience ranging from young children all the way up to seniors facing the final chapter of their life. I strive to create a space where all people feel comfortable, knowing that they will be met with care and compassion.
During sessions I am highly collaborative; I love brainstorming potential solutions together and then letting the client pick what they want to try first. I believe that part of beginning to feel better often starts with how we talk to ourselves, so I am big on finding ways to reframe negative or unhelpful statements. I am an advocate for everyone I work with and will encourage my clients to grow into their best selves, however they define that.
My approach can come off a bit casual. I love to laugh, and I bring laughter into sessions whenever appropriate. Therapy is scary enough, no need to make it any more serious than it needs to be!
