A little about me:
“I find I am constantly being encouraged to pluck out some one aspect of myself and present this as the meaningful whole, eclipsing or denying the other parts of self.”
― Audre Lorde
I use warmth, cultural humility, and humor to build strong relationships with my clients. With our relationship as the foundation, we can explore your relationship with self and others. I meet you where you’re at, and with creativity utilize our relationship as the catalyst for change.
I strive to make therapy a safe space for folks who have been harmed by traditional therapeutic practices. Emotions can be locked in language, in our trauma stories, and in our bodies. My goal is that through the process of therapy, you are able to acknowledge your different stories and begin to heal and integrate them into the fabric of who you are.
I offer a realness that’s non-judgmental, and authentically human. To help you reach your goals and provide you with tools that will work for you we will work within multiple modalities that include psychodynamic and attachment therapy, emotion-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and somatic and physical awareness practices.
