A little about me:
I specialize in helping individuals who feel unseen, particularly those who experience exhaustion from the constant demands of masking. While masking can sometimes be a necessary coping mechanism, its overuse can lead to feelings of unworthiness, disconnection, and entrapment in false perceptions of the self. I am deeply committed to fostering authentic connections, as I believe they are integral to overall happiness well-being. My therapeutic approach is founded in acceptance and compassion, utilizing evidence-based interventions that consider one’s emotional landscape, cultural context, and the neurobiological underpinnings of their lived experiences. I integrate Eastern practices of mindfulness, meditation, breathwork, and somatic awareness—along with evidence-based Western practices—to support healing.
I believe that neurodiversity enriches society and that individuals deserve celebration, validation, accommodations, and support. As a strong advocate for diversity, I approach my work from an actively affirming lens. I celebrate and respect cultural, spiritual, and religious diversity, and I provide a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment for individuals from all walks of life, including those with diverse sexual orientations and gender identities. I remain committed to continuously learning and engaging with clients’ unique perspectives, recognizing how their individual stories shape their experiences of the world.
In my clinical practice, I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Art Therapy. Currently, I am pursuing certification in perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International and advancing my training in Art Therapy, with the goal of supporting clients through creative, expressive modalities.
