Who I Work With:

I work with people from all walks of life who are struggling with stress, anxiety, and overwhelming emotions. I also work with individuals with ADHD, often those who are late diagnosed, who are looking to learn specific skills for working with their minds instead of against them. Those who come to see me are looking to make lifestyle changes that can support new and healthy habits while also shifting their mindset around emotions to a more mindful and self-compassionate stance.

Education

A little about me:

My work is informed by my identities - I am a queer, asexual, gender non-conforming therapist with ADHD, and thus I strive to help others on their journeys with neurodivergence and identity. My approach to therapy is collaborative, relational, and feminist. I believe that the personal is political, so I aim to make therapy a safe space to explore the impact of capitalism, colonialism, patriarchy, etc. on mental and physical well-being. As a therapeutic game master with a passion for tabletop roleplaying games, I also love finding ways to incorporate your hobbies into your healing journey.

I aim to make therapy a fully collaborative process, where we experiment together to discover what fits best for you and your unique needs. My approach is guided by the therapeutic modality of Acceptance and Commitment therapy, and informed by somatic and feminist theories. Our sessions together will likely look different from week to week depending on what you bring into each session, however some common themes will include mindfulness, awareness of the present moment, intentionality, and a focus on values driven actions. I believe that we cannot control our emotions, but we can control how we choose to respond to our emotions, and we can work to make more space for self-compassion and openness in all our lives.
